Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka – Aït Ben Haddou – Skoura – Valley of Roses – Dadès Gorges

Departure at 8:00 am from your accommodation in Marrakech towards the south, via the spectacular High Atlas road. You will cross the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2,260 m), offering breathtaking views of the peaks and perched Berber villages. First stop to visit the Telouet kasbah, former residence of Pacha Glaoui, located in the Ounila valley, a historic route that once connected the desert to the Atlantic plains. At the end of the morning, arrival at the famous Aït Ben Haddou kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This earthen fortress, a true icon of southern Moroccan architecture, has served as a setting for films like Gladiator or Lawrence of Arabia. Lunch in a traditional riad. In the afternoon, continuation towards the Dadès Gorges through the city of Ouarzazate (the Hollywood of Morocco), then the Skoura oasis with a visit to the magnificent Amridil kasbah, one of the best preserved in Morocco. You will then take the famous Valley of Roses, known for its flowery landscapes in spring and its rose water cooperatives, before following the road of a thousand kasbahs, lined with fortified villages and palm groves. Arrival at the end of the day in the Dadès Gorges. Dinner and night in a charming riad.

Day 2: Dadès Gorges – Ouarzazate – Fint Oasis – Marrakech

After a breakfast with a view of the mountains, you will go for a walk in the Dadès Gorges and the Fig Valley, perfect for soaking up the calm and natural beauty of the region. Return towards Marrakech, with several stops rich in discoveries. In Ouarzazate, you will visit the Taourirt kasbah, one of the best-preserved kasbahs in southern Morocco, as well as the Fint oasis, an ancient crossroads for caravans nestled between the mountains. After lunch, the return is through the High Atlas via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. Arrival at your hotel in Marrakech at the end of the day, your eyes still filled with the wonders of southern Morocco and the desert.
