Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dadès Gorges

Departure at 8:00 am from your hotel in Marrakech. You take the magnificent road of the Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2,260 m), in the heart of the High Atlas, with several panoramic stops. Your first guided tour takes place at the Aït Ben Haddou kasbah, a jewel listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and a famous filming location for films like Gladiator or Lawrence of Arabia. After the visit, lunch in a traditional riad. In the afternoon, drive to the Dadès Gorges via Ouarzazate, nicknamed "the gateway to the desert". Guided tour of the famous Atlas film studios, then stop at the Amridil kasbah in the Skoura oasis, one of the best-preserved kasbahs in Southern Morocco. Continuation through the Valley of Roses and the road of a thousand kasbahs to the superb Dadès Gorges. Check-in at your hotel. Dinner and night on site.

Day 2: Dadès Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

After breakfast, a walk in the Fig Tree Valley, then to the Monkey's Fingers, amazing rock formations. Drive east towards Merzouga, with a stop at the Todra Gorges, known for their vertiginous walls and green oasis. Walk in the palm groves of Tinghir, lunch en route, then cross the Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet region, famous for its palm groves and adobe kasbahs. At the end of the day, you reach the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, 250 meters high. A camel ride allows you to reach your bivouac while admiring a magnificent sunset in the desert.

Day 3: Merzouga – Drâa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Wake up in the desert and sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga. Breakfast at the camp, then a morning walk in the dunes before leaving for Marrakech. You will pass through Rissani, an ancient commercial and caravan center, then cross the villages of Alnif, Tazarine and N’Kob, nestled in the arid landscapes of the Anti-Atlas. The road then follows the superb Drâa Valley, renowned for its lush palm groves and its old caravan route.
Lunch in Ouarzazate, then return trip to Marrakech via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. Arrival at your hotel at the end of the day.
