Day 1: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Valley of Roses – Road of a Thousand Kasbahs – Dadès Gorges – Todra Gorges

Depart at 8:30 AM from your Ouarzazate accommodation, known as the gateway to the Sahara. Your Saharan adventure begins with a drive through southern Morocco’s arid landscapes to the Skoura Oasis, renowned for its lush palm groves and the iconic Amridil Kasbah, a masterpiece of Berber mud-brick architecture. Continue through the Valley of Roses, famous for its fragrant rose fields, artisanal rosewater, and stunning landscapes dotted with kasbahs. Follow the mythical Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, lined with authentic Berber villages and ochre fortresses, reaching the Dadès Gorges by late morning, also known as the Fig Valley for its verdant orchards.
