Day 1: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Valley of Roses – Road of a Thousand Kasbahs – Todra Gorges – Erg Chebbi (Merzouga)

Depart at 8:00 AM in a private vehicle with a driver-guide from your Ouarzazate accommodation, heading to the majestic Merzouga desert in the Moroccan Sahara. Stop at the Skoura Oasis, known for its verdant palm groves and mud-brick kasbahs, including the iconic Amridil Kasbah, a symbol of Berber architecture. Continue through the Valley of Roses and Dadès Valley along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, lined with fortified villages and terraced fields. Late morning, explore the dramatic Todra Gorges, with cliffs soaring over 300 meters. After lunch in Tinghir, proceed to Merzouga, gateway to the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a sunset camel ride through dunes up to 250 meters high, followed by a traditional dinner and a magical night in a luxury desert camp under the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Drâa Valley – Tizgui Waterfalls – Ouarzazate

Wake early to watch the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by breakfast at the luxury camp. After a short walk in the golden dunes, depart for Ouarzazate through the arid, majestic landscapes of southern Morocco. Pass through Rissani, a historic city with vibrant souks, and the oasis villages of Alnif and Tazarine. Enjoy lunch in N’Kob, famous for its numerous kasbahs. Continue along the Drâa valley, Morocco’s longest, lined with palm groves, ksour, and traditional fields, following the ancient caravan route. Stop at the hidden Tizgui Waterfalls in the Anti-Atlas, a refreshing spot perfect for nature and photography. Cross the Tizi-n-Tinfifite pass (1,660 m) before arriving at your Ouarzazate accommodation by late afternoon.
